Born and raised in Los Angeles, Tommy’s interest in music first began at age 8 when he picked up the drumsticks. Now at 24, he has accumulated over a decade of gigging experience, as well as a Bachelor’s of Music degree from USC Thornton’s esteemed Popular Music Program. Tommy’s well-rounded skill set and infectious love for all things music makes him an ideal collaborating drummer.

Behind the kit, Tommy’s versatility can be attributed to a diverse music taste and his studies in multiple styles under the likes of world class drummers such as Will Kennedy and Aaron Serfaty. While performing in pop and rock groups has always been the norm for him, Tommy’s training in funk, jazz-fusion, and latin styles in recent years have led to a vast musical vocabulary that is consistently put to use in his playing. A reliable performer, he gigs frequently in the L.A area.

As a collaborator, Tommy has a deep understanding of what it means to best serve the song and gel with other performers. Studying music performance at USC, he was fortunate enough to learn from ultimate professionals in this field such as Patrice Rushen and Paul Jackson Jr, while performing, writing, and recording with some of the most promising young musicians on the scene. Also, with an extensive education in music theory, arranging, and production, plus self-taught abilities on guitar and keyboards, Tommy’s attributes go far beyond just holding down the groove.
